In the wake of rather unpleasant happenings in the last few days, I have been trying to educate myself about tuberculosis and its effects, stages and degrees of fatality. It turns out (and this probably is not a mere matter of co-incidence) that humans are affected by TB at the rate of an infection per second, the same rate at which they fall in love.

Both are dangerous but only one kills, apparently. Funny how the heart can take a thousand deaths but the body can take only one. Evolutionary joke, I presume.
